I have a love/hate relationship with Legos. On the one hand my boys love them. They build all kinds of crazy things and I think it is a better use of time than sitting in front of the TV. On the other hand there is Luke. Luke is little, not quite two. He has chubby hands and uncoordinated fingers. He LOVES Legos but can't quite build the fantastic things his brothers build. He tries, and then gets frustrated and ends up throwing Legos all over my house.
Have you ever stepped on a Lego? Then you know my suffering....
Do you know what it is like to find little Lego pieces and wheels all over your house? Again, more suffering....
After throwing them all over the place he will continue to cry about his lack of ability to build things. I sometimes try to help him but he just ends up breaking whatever we have built about 2 seconds later. Then more crying ensues. Yet again....more suffering.....
So what's a girl to do??
I'd like to get rid of all of them, but that would not be a good Mom thing to do. So, for the time being I will just live with it, maybe I will slowly pilfer from the Lego pile and throw them away one piece at a time.....

Hi Natalie! Hope you don't mind me checking out your blog. I had to comment on this one. My boys are STILL way into Legos and they are a lot older than your boys. And, just so you know, they still can't put them away and I get to step on them, vacuum them, sweep them and THROW them away when I get tired of all of the above. ;)
My children do not yet have Lego's. One day they will, but I am not excited about stepping on them. I use to step on my little brothers all the time.
I feel the same about crayons. I have now decided to through away any that I find out of place. I do feel you pain with the steping on this, its totally killer.
I have this same relationship with dress up! So fun and so annoying at the same time.
You know my lego experience! :) I feel your pain. Lets get together next week. I miss you! :)
