Lots of Fun!!

So I broke my foot today....yep, you read it correctly! Awesome huh? I was late for church (of course) I told Jason to take the boys and head down. I told him to take the car and I would just walk down. It was snowing so I bundled up and Louie and I headed down the hill to church. I was feeling pretty good about myself that we had survived the hill, just as we rounded the corner (just across the street from the church mind you) I slipped, and my foot somehow ended up underneath me and I landed right on top of it with my big arse. So it totally hurt of course and I was pretty sure I did some kind of damage so I tried to get up to walk to the church to get Jason to help me. However, when I tried to walk I totally couldn't, it felt really strange and hurt like you know what. After trying to walk, I realized I was not going to be able to make it to the church, or my house. All my neighbors were at church so I couldn't crawl to anyones house. I didn't have my phone so I couldn't call anyone, (they would have been at church anyways). So I did the only thing I could think of at the moment and I sat down in the snow and cried hysterically. Which is where a man in my ward found me with Louie at my side also crying hysterically. He kept pulling my hand and pushing my back saying, "Come on Mom, let's go." Anyways, the man in my ward helped me into his car and got Louie in the car and drove to the church and went in and got Jason. Jason drove me to the instacare and we got xrays and it was broken. I have a post tibial fracture so I have to be on crutches, I can't put any weight on my foot and I get to go see a Sports doctor to get a cast this week. Yipee. I am not sure what we are going to do for the next six weeks but it should be interesting at our house!!

Boys, boys, boys....

So I have to tell this story while it is fresh, I am still laughing about it. We put the boys to bed about 30 minutes ago, they were really tired tonight and Noah was already mad because he didn't do his homework earlier so some if it didn't get done....anyhoo....We got them in bed and not ten minutes later Isaac is screaming, so I go in there, he tells me that Noah has punched him in the stomach....Jason proceeds to take Noah out to find out why in the crap he would punch Isaac in the stomach. I stay in the bedroom to talk to Isaac. Now Isaac may be a little kid but he can be pretty mean with the things he says, which end up kind of ticking everyone around him off. I ask him what he said to Noah to make him punch him and he won't tell me, so I drag him out of bed and go find Jason and Noah. Neither child will tell me what they said to each other, all they will say is that Noah said it first and Isaac said it back to Noah.
At this point I am doing a a mental review, trying to think of which bad words we have said in front of the kids. We keep asking what they said and neither one will fess up. I am getting pretty worried at this point, I can't remember swearing at them (I usually reserve those words for Jason....) We continue to ask them...still no answer....I am starting to sweat by now, wondering which bad word has been used and how we are going to address it.....
Isaac finally says....
"Noah said that I love....." that is all he gets out of his mouth before I lost it......yep, I start laughing....he proceeds to run in his room and hide under his bed. Noah starts laughing and we finally get it out of him. He said that he told Isaac that he loves Audrey. Then we ask Noah what Isaac said back to him and he starts crying again and won't tell us, he runs and hides under his bed too and we follow them in their room and finally get Isaac to tell us that he told Noah that he loves Maddy.??!
They are both crying and Jason and I are both laughing. I tell them to get in bed and if they don't go right to sleep I will make them both call their girlfriends in the morning.....which creates more crying.....
It is now 9:42 and all is quiet in the Miller house.....who knew girls are such a big deal when you are in kindergarten and third grade??

Happy New Year!

So one of my goals this year is to blog a bit more about what is going on at our house. We have all been sick this week, it has been kind of nice to just stay home and do nothing. We all seem to be well now so YIPEE! We went to Logan today, Jason's parents are home from their mission in Germany. They had their homecoming today. It was nice, I think they had a great time on their mission. We are glad they are home! Well, I may try to be better at blogging.....can't promise anything exciting however!
