I should go down and download my pics but I don't like the basement when it's dark and I am home alone, I realize I sound like my 4 year old....yes, I am a wimp.
Jason went to a game nite in Farmington. I don't really get the concept of a game night, they sit around and eat junk food, drink lots of soda and play games like Risk. This does not sound like my idea of fun. Thus, the reason I am here on my couch blogging. My friend Sally was going to come over and watch a The Kiterunner with me but she was tired, she has been the drop in day care for friends and family for the last 3 days and when I called at 10:30 her niece and nephew had just left. So now I am sitting here watching the Late Show. I just watched the news, they did a thing on Spam, not the email version but the edible version. My ex mother in law used to make something called Spam vegetable bake......yes, it was as disgusting as it sounds. I didn't really pay attention to the story just that some restaurant was making lots of food with Spam. Yuck.....hope I don't happen on that restaurant anytime soon.....
I am rambling now...I think I will go to bed, I have been really tired lately for some odd reason.....too much reading??? Not enough exercise???Too much Dr Pepper???Too much chocolate??? Not enough vegetables??? Which one do you think?

Happy Birthday Tracey!
Happy Birthday Tracey! I hope you have a great day and a nice night out on the town with your hubby!!
Hello!
Ok, I realize I haven't blogged for a while..... I have been reading, what can I say!
On Friday, Jason's parents came down and took our family to dinner. It was nice to see them. On Saturday I suprised Jason for his birthday (Happy Birthday Babe!) and had my mom come up to watch the boys and we went to lunch and then to see Indiana Jones. He got a new grill for his birthday and I have to say I am excited about the prospects of him cooking dinner more.....hmmm.....
On Monday we spent the day looking for shades for our deck. Now that we have a nice grill, we wanted to make the deck more usuable. The shades block out the sunlight so it is much nicer to sit there in the evening! Now we just need to find some nice deck furniture and put in a fan and our deck will be perfect!
Oh yeah, summer is finally here! No more school! Yipee!!! I realize I may be eating these words in a couple of weeks but for right now I am thrilled!! No more carpool....no more getting up early.....no more ironing those dang uniforms....no more homework.....yeah!!!
I actually have pictures to post.... I just need to download them!! Maybe tomorrow????

Ok, so I actually read 3 books in 2 weeks and I am starting on my 4th. Many of you wonder how I find time to read.....hmmm, I try to fit it in when I can....I show up early for car pool (I drive 3 car pools so I do get some good reading time in when I am on pick up duty) I read when Isaac is at preschool and Lukey is sleeping, I read in the morning after I get Noah off to school, before the boys get up, I read in the evenings after they go to bed. Sometimes when I am really into a book I rent a DVD for my kids and sit in the living room with them while they watch their show. (I am afraid the last scenerio has been happening WAY to much....) When I am on a reading kick I don't watch TV, my tivo at the moment is like 95% full (Jason likes to remind me that they are all MY shows).
Ok, so the book I just started is.....

I read the Twilight series and loved them so I am not suprised that I am LOVING this book! So, unfortunately for you all, I am going to log off and go upstairs and read. I need to finish it quickly because there are only 4 more days of school and then I will have to give my children some quality time with their mother who has been neglicting them for the past 2 weeks!

Yes, I am still alive....
I realize it has been a while since I have posted, I have been crazy busy.... haa haa haa haa haa
Not really, I read like 4 books this week, my husband thinks I am seriously lazy. Then I left him Tues, Wed and Thurs night to put the boys to bed while I went to the gym. He is ready to trade me in for a new wife! I don't really know what is wrong with me, I am totally unmotivated at the moment....
My fridge broke on Wednesday at like 8:00 at night. I called a couple of neighbors to see if they had any room in their freezers but of course they didn't (I wouldn't if someone called me). Finally after calling everyone I knew I sent Jason to Lowes to buy a freezer. He bought a couple of bags of ice and I thought we would be ok with those in the fridge part. Fat chance..... by the morning there was water everywhere. We finally got on KSL.com and bought a used mini fridge for $30. It is pretty ugly (brown faux wood) and it is really loud but it does the job. The repair man will hopefully come on Tuesday! &*%$ holiday weekend.....
The water warped my wood floors and I had to throw out a lot of food (I did my big grocery shopping on Monday - what are the odds). But on a good note, my fridge is now spotless!!
I realize that this is not a really big deal, life could be much, much worse so I am going to be done complaining now!!
It is late, I should to to bed but I think I will read some more, I just started my 5th book......

Happy Mother's Day!
I had one of those weeks from you know where! I think it is funny I would have such a week right before Mother's Day! I think I just might be in way over my head....
It is a good thing I didn't quit on Wednesday because the week did get better and today was nice. My Mom and Shauna came to my house today and went to church with us. They told us in the nursery that we could start bringing Luke in if we would stay in there with him. My Mom spent the first hour in with him and Jason went in for the last hour and they told him he didn't need to stay in there because Luke was doing fine. SWEET! I got so much out of Sunday School and YW's today! I made dinner when we got home and we got to open all our presents! I got lots of great things, thanks Mom, Shauna and Jason!
Funny mom moment: We were watching Funniest Home Videos tonight and I said "Oh, man" and Luke repeated it perfectly. It was so funny, Noah fell off the couch laughing. We made him say it like 50 more times before bedtime just so we could laugh and laugh. Luke is not talking all that much, he says Mama, and Nana and doggy and ruff ruff and that is about it. So when he said Oh man it was pretty funny!
I just want to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day! You are all GREAT moms and I am so glad I know you!!

Late night confessions......
Ok, so I realize it is really late but I have a confession to make. I have some how, some where gotten completely behind in my life. I don't know how it happened but it did and now I don't know how I will ever get caught up again.
I usually do laundry every other day, and generally I do the dishes a couple of times a day. So herein lies the problem:
I have I have so much laundry to do I don't even know where to start. I have already done 3 loads today and I have 4 more needing to be done. By the time I get up in the morning I will probably have another load to add to that pile. Ok, so no big deal, it's just laundry...but to add to my laundry, I have a sink full of dishes, I had to run the dishwasher at about 8:00 tonight and there is still a full sink ready to be loaded and washed. Aghhhhh
To top it off I have to go out tomorrow and find stuff for Noah's teacher for Teacher Appreciation week and Wednesday I have to go to his school and stay with his class while his teacher goes to her luncheon.
How did this happen, where did all these clothes and dishes come from. I don't remember taking a break from my life. I am exhausted, I have been working hard doing something????
I am going to bed...maybe the cleaning fairy will visit me tonight and I will wake up to my laundry washed, folded and put away and my dishes done???
A girl can dream..................

Sunday, Bloody Sunday.....
Ok, so we went to Stake Conference today and Luke is Luke and can't be quiet or sit still. Jason took him out for a while and was sitting on the couch watching him. The doors outside were open so Jason shut them to keep Luke inside. A couple minutes later a man came out and said to Jason. "Can you just watch your kid so we can keep the doors open." He obviously doesn't have children...or can't remember having them.... to ask such a stupid question. Jason brought him back in a little later and he of course was noisey again so I took him out. Isaac, of course, followed and a minute later Jason came out to get Isaac. I told Jason to just go get the bag and we could finish the last 20 minutes out on the couch in the foyer. Well in the time it took to get the bag, Luke escaped outside and followed Isaac to the edge of a 3 feet wall and proceeded to throw himself off the wall. Ok, so maybe he didn't throw himself off it but he did fall off it right smack dab on his face. His nose and lip were bleeding (left a blood trail to the car) and so we took off home. Poor little man, his top lip is all swollen and his nose is swollen and scraped up. His nose keeps bleeding. He scraped his leg and his elbow. Lucky for him and the rest of us he didn't do any more damage than that.....

I tried to get a good picture but struggled. Here you can see his swollen lip.

His lip went down by dinner time but you can see his nose is swollen and scraped up!
We are glad our baby is ok, a little banged up but ok!!

This is Alfie. Our favorite little green tractor. Jason and I HATE this toy. Why it is still in our home is beyond me. Isaac was obsessed with this toy when he was about 3. If it got lost we heard about it for days.....DAYS people......well, finally it got lost for good and Isaac moved on to new and better toys. Last year when the snow melted we found little Alfie in our backyard. Now Luke has found little Alfie and they have bonded as only little boys and toys do. However, Luke has a weird little obsession.........

Isn't he cute. Not hardly..... Luke won't play with Alfie if he looks like this.....

Or this.....................(frustration begins to mount)

Or this.......(yes, the swearing in my mind usually begins here........)

This is how Alfie must look in order for Luke to play with it.
Now keep in mind this toy rotates and the arm moves with the slightest movement so in a 15 minute period Luke will follow me around the house crying because Alfie is not in the correct position. After fixing him about 25 times I finally will just hide him and let Luke cry it out until he moves on to the next toy.
So, Alfie is looking for a new home, somewhere nice and warm, with little children. You can have him, no charge......anyone.....anyone.......

Ogden Tree House
On Tuesday we rode the Front Runner again up to Ogden and went to the Tree House. The boys had so much fun. We left our house at about 9:45. It took us an hour and 10 minutes to get to Ogden on the train and then we had a 10 minute walk. The kids played for a couple of hours at the Tree House and Tracey popped in to say hi and visit for a while. We left for the train at about 2:50 and then ate at Subway (lunch, nice huh) and then I ran to catch the train home. I ended up getting home at about 5:30. I have to say that was a long day..... oh yea and a little girl had some serious diarrea on the train right by us and we got to smell it all the way home! All in all it was a nice day, long but nice.....

Lukey cheeses it for the camera!

Isaac played for hours on the fire truck! Maybe instead of an anchorman, he will be a fireman??

Eyebrow Shapers??
Ok, so I hate plucking my eyebrows and I have lost my tweezers, so I was at Walmart the other day and I found a package of eyebrow shapers. Hmmm, I thought, maybe that would be better than the horrible pain I put myself through each time I have to pluck my eyebrows. They were on sale so I decided I would give them a try.....
Consumer Beware: If you don't know what you are doing, these babies can be dangerous!

Ok, so I may have a few cuts on my face but they have scabbed over and will be fully healed by the time I have to use my eyebrow shaper again. Yes....I am going to try them again, the pain level was about the same as plucking so even though I am looking a bit rough right now I think they are worth another shot! Stay tuned for future updates.......
