Final count down....

The Miller Family reunion is coming, oh yes, it is one of my favorite scheduled vacations every year. Ok, so not really. Don't get me wrong, I love Jason's family, they are great.....I just don't love their choice of family reunion things to do. We are going camping. I don't love camping... I don't even kind of like camping. I am allergic to everything that lives and breathes in the mountains, I don't love dirt, cooking outdoors, smelling like campfire, sleeping on an air mattress with a man that weighs more than me, raccoons, bugs, need I say more....oh yeah...having to use the restroom at 2 am....
This year I am in charge of the whole thing with Jason's mom. No, I don't get to choose where we go, I just get to plan all the activities that we will do during the time we are there. Yes, I am totally stressed out at this moment......I just have a million things to do before I get up there.......time is running out......sob...sob....

Silly kids.....

I am making passports for our Miller family reunion. We decided to have fun with the boys pictures. They were so funny I thought I would share.

Who could this be?

And this little man with so much hair is?? Hans....Olaf...maybe Napolean?

Of course, no family reunion is complete without Batman.....

p.s. I don't want to hear any smart comments about all the laundry in the background of the batman picture....sadly, this is a common occurance at our house lately!

Father's Day!

On Father's Day I decided to make Jason a cake. Now I can cook, occasionally I make things that tase and look good. This was NOT one of those days. I can't bake cakes....I ruin them every time.....

So I made Jason a bundt cake, it was all working out fine until I tried to get the cake out of the pan. You can see how that went......it looks pretty gross, but luckly it tasted pretty good!

Aside from the cake, I think Jason's favorite gift was the shirt from the boys... :) We love you honey, thanks for being such a great Hubby and Dad!

Update on the running thing....

Here is a little update on how the running is going. (jogging really, but who is keeping score...) I ran 4 days last week. This week I have only ran 1 time (tonite) but I am determined to get at least 3 days in so it looks like I will be running on Friday and Saturday! I read this book about running and the lady said she looked forward to running, it was her way to keep her sanity. I don't look forward to it yet......I haven't lost any weight either...... Oh, and I keep my sanity with a Dr. Pepper and chocolate! :)

My new thing.....

So, I decided I am going to run some 5K 's this summer. I checked out a couple books on running from the library yesterday. I think I might have convinced Jennifer and Crystal to run them with me???? We will see! Anyone else want to join in??? I need a new motivation to get into shape, and maybe it will help me calm down, relieve some stress?? I am starting tomorrow! (running...not racing...probably not 3 miles to start out either...can't expect too much from the first day!)

Happy Birthday to you......

Friday was my Mom's birthday! She is 60...a senior citizen now.....j/k Mom! We drove to Provo and met her for lunch and then went back to her office for cake and a little celebration! Shauna (her boss and friend) got a guy to play the harmonica for her (my Mom is a harmonica player...). He was a funny little man, but I must admit.... harmonica music isn't really my thing so Lou and I walked around her office and rode the elevator a couple of times. I met all her friends at work and the cake was fantastic! After her party we went to her house so the boys could play for a while and then we went and got some dinner and hung out some more at her house. We left at about 10 in the morning and got home around 9:00. It was a long day, but totally worth it. My Mom is so great, she is the best Nana to the boys and does so much for Jason and I. She may be slightly crazy.... but we love her tons and tons!!

Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!!

My Mom and I!

Nana and her boys!

In & Out Burger Jedi.....

Lou has decided he wants to be an In & Out Burger Jedi when he grows up. I wonder how much they make per hour??
