Final count down....

The Miller Family reunion is coming, oh yes, it is one of my favorite scheduled vacations every year. Ok, so not really. Don't get me wrong, I love Jason's family, they are great.....I just don't love their choice of family reunion things to do. We are going camping. I don't love camping... I don't even kind of like camping. I am allergic to everything that lives and breathes in the mountains, I don't love dirt, cooking outdoors, smelling like campfire, sleeping on an air mattress with a man that weighs more than me, raccoons, bugs, need I say more....oh yeah...having to use the restroom at 2 am....
This year I am in charge of the whole thing with Jason's mom. No, I don't get to choose where we go, I just get to plan all the activities that we will do during the time we are there. Yes, I am totally stressed out at this moment......I just have a million things to do before I get up there.......time is running out......sob...sob....

I feel for you and your camping trip. I know you hate going camping - you are a clean freak. Some activities - maybe go to dollar store and see if there are some arts and crafts for kids to do. maybe a scavanger hunt. or just plan a hike and have the kids have to find stuff on the hike, ie: purple flower, brown rock, stick taller then them - make if fun! Good luck!

I hate camping as well. When the rest of the Williams clan camped at a KOA in Cedar City, I insisted on a hotel. Am I high maintenance? Maybe but I need my sleep; especially to handle the extended fam!! GOOD LUCK:)

I am with you on the whole camping thing. We just got back from our family camp out. Can I just say dust and dirt everywhere.

YOU BIG BABY!!! Camping is fine! I'll even go so far as to say sort of fun! Get all the guys in camo, rent some paint ball guns and send them "hunting" each other in the woods. They'll think you're awesome!

Good luck with the planning! We are doing the same thing with Kory's family this weekend. However, for the first time Kory and I are going to stay at a Hotel at the base of the mountain instead of in a tent. Yipee.
If you don't have everything planned already we do some fun activities, give me a call and I will tell you about them.
