So I have to tell this story while it is fresh, I am still laughing about it. We put the boys to bed about 30 minutes ago, they were really tired tonight and Noah was already mad because he didn't do his homework earlier so some if it didn't get done....anyhoo....We got them in bed and not ten minutes later Isaac is screaming, so I go in there, he tells me that Noah has punched him in the stomach....Jason proceeds to take Noah out to find out why in the crap he would punch Isaac in the stomach. I stay in the bedroom to talk to Isaac. Now Isaac may be a little kid but he can be pretty mean with the things he says, which end up kind of ticking everyone around him off. I ask him what he said to Noah to make him punch him and he won't tell me, so I drag him out of bed and go find Jason and Noah. Neither child will tell me what they said to each other, all they will say is that Noah said it first and Isaac said it back to Noah.
At this point I am doing a a mental review, trying to think of which bad words we have said in front of the kids. We keep asking what they said and neither one will fess up. I am getting pretty worried at this point, I can't remember swearing at them (I usually reserve those words for Jason....) We continue to ask them...still no answer....I am starting to sweat by now, wondering which bad word has been used and how we are going to address it.....
Isaac finally says....
"Noah said that I love....." that is all he gets out of his mouth before I lost it......yep, I start laughing....he proceeds to run in his room and hide under his bed. Noah starts laughing and we finally get it out of him. He said that he told Isaac that he loves Audrey. Then we ask Noah what Isaac said back to him and he starts crying again and won't tell us, he runs and hides under his bed too and we follow them in their room and finally get Isaac to tell us that he told Noah that he loves Maddy.??!
They are both crying and Jason and I are both laughing. I tell them to get in bed and if they don't go right to sleep I will make them both call their girlfriends in the morning.....which creates more crying.....
It is now 9:42 and all is quiet in the Miller house.....who knew girls are such a big deal when you are in kindergarten and third grade??

Thats freaking hillarious!
So funny! Thanks for sharing.
I am still laughing. I don't know if my girls like any guys yet, they won't tell. I will call you soon, I have just had a crazy few days.
This is so so funny! My boys are afraid of anything pink so I hope we have awhile. They wont even drink out of a pink cup. It is so funny that if they don't have a sister that girls are so foreign. But now this makes me think...are my boys really hiding that they like girls?
Thanks for sharing!
