Coolest wife on the block....

Jason bought a motorcycle. Yes, I did say motorcycle. He decided about a month ago that if he bought a motorcycle, it would save us tons of money in gas (reality: not really) so he was obsessed with finding the perfect bike. This obsession consumed his, (thus my) days and nights for a couple of weeks until he finally found THE bike. This bike happened to be in Twin Falls, but it was a price I could swallow so I told him just buy the bike. So then we had to go get the bike. This was the weekend before his family reunion. On Sunday we were supposed to go to Logan for his parents farewell, then we had to drive up to Logan again on Tuesday for the family reunion. Oh yeah and we were going to Park City for a bike race (shopping for me) on Saturday. We only had to fit a trip to Twin Falls sometime between Saturday-Monday. I was totally stressed out doing final things for the reunion so I didn't need this extra stress, but since I am obviously in total control of my life (haa haa) everthing seemed to need to be done in these few days. We drove up to Twin Falls (3 hour drive) and got the bike, and then turned around and drove home (should have been another 3 hour drive....but it wasn't....). We left pretty late in the evening and after we got the bike, test drove it, filled it up with gas, got some gross Carl's Jr. dinner.... it was about 8:00 before we left Idaho. We hit Kaysville at about 11:00 pm and the freeway was totally stopped (I realized this about 5 feet after the exit). I sat in stop and go traffic for 1 hour, yes 1 HOUR. At about 11:45, Isaac was crying, Luke was fussing and I was crying in the front seat. We weren't even to Farmington yet. FINALLY, we passed all the traffic and ended up getting home at about midnight. Jason drove in about 15 minutes after me. He tried to apologize for all the trouble but I told him it was probably better for him to leave me alone for the night. I was afraid I would say quite a few bad words and say more than a few things that I couldn't take back after the fact. It took me a couple of days actually to get over the whole bike thing. He had been so obsessed over it, I didn't really think we needed to buy it, then the whole go get it thing.....I was done. I haven't ridden on it yet, maybe someday I won't hate it?? I keep telling Jason I have now been pushed to #3 on his list of important things. 1. Mountain Bike 2. Motorcycle 3. Me........ However my neighbor Ben keeps telling everyone that I am the coolest wife ever because I let Jason buy this bike. So there you have it..... I am the COOLEST WIFE EVER!

Here is a picture of my proud hubby......

I agree you are the coolest wife EVER! Don't tell my Jason. How did I miss this story on Saturday? Thanks for being there for me. You are the best! :) What would I do without you? Let's just hope I never have to find out.

That's pretty cool. Not so much the adventure in getting it, but the fact that your husband has a motorcycle. Chad would like a motorcycle, but then I would want one too. You'll have to ride it and tell me what you think.
You are the coolest wife on the block, I don't think there is any way I can beat that, so I'll just have to move. :)

Brian is obsessed, too. I block it out. I say no. I joke about it (to say no). I get angry (please excuse the hormones).

I'm afraid of the suckers...
Way to go in the faith department--seriously!

Fun to run into you running shuttle for Jason!

Wow! You have been busy! You are good for not reacting in the heat of the moment after the whole bike experience! Something I need to work on! :) Love your shoes!

Way to go, Cool Wife! At least he found a bike with a nice back seat for his cool wife to sit on while he drives her through the canyons.
