Suprise!

We got a surprise package from Germany! Jason's parents are serving a mission in Germany and they sent the boys some gifts! We always love getting surprises!!

I am never sad about getting chocolate from Germany.....ymmm.....

Lou got some tablets that turned the bath water different colors...they were pretty cool, no ring around the tub or anything!

Isaac got a telescope. He was THRILLED! He kept asking us if he could see into outer space with it.....

Noah got a stop watch, he was also THRILLED! He now times himself doing homework, brushing teeth, doing jobs, etc.......

THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa! We love you and miss you tons!

25 Things about Me!

I saw this on Jamie and Crystal's blog. Jamie did 52 things and Crystal did 25, 25 sounds so much better...
1. When I get sick, I always get sinus infections.
2. Before I had kids I wanted 6 boys. ha ha ha
3. I was in the band until 9th grade. I played the flute.
4. I took piano lessons for 5 years, I am not great but can plunk out a tune.
5. I have to color my hair now, too many gray hairs.
6. The summer between my junior and senior year I snuck out of my house almost every nite.
7. I went to UVSC.
8. I went to the U of U.
9. I am the middle child.
10. I ran for Miss Spanish Fork my senior year....yikes!
11. I played basketball, tennis and ran track in High School. Didn't excel at any of them...
12. I love to read fictional books, not so much anything else...
13. I tried out for cheerleader my senior year of High School... would like to see footage of that sad attempt....
14. I am allergic to pretty much everything that grows out of doors.
15. I LOVE to get good deals!
16. I clip coupons and then forget to use them.
17. I am addicted to Dr. Pepper.
18. If I could choose any occupation I would be a nurse in the NICU.
19. I have never traveled outside of the United States.
20. I love it when my house is clean! (rare these days...)

Jason dropped a gallon of milk on the kitchen floor last night right as I was leaving for YW. We got it cleaned up and I mopped the floor but my house currently smells like a sippy cup with old milk in it. Gross! I don't quite know where the smell is coming from....I opened the windows and turned on the fans and tried to air it out today but as soon as I shut the windows again the smell returned. Sigh....lucky for me I usually only have little people over to visit, they don't care how it smells if you feed them and have something for them to play with.... hopefully the smell goes away and doesn't get worse.....

Working out is hard to do....

I have been trying to get back into working out. I have been pretty good this week. I got up this morning however and had to drag my flabby body downstairs to the treadmill. My workout out today was terrible. I had no energy....it was very pathetic. I watched The Biggest Loser last night which usually motivates me somewhat....not today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better! Wish me luck! I refuse to be chubby come summer.....

Who is your hero?

I went to the Successful Mothering Convention today. My Mom was thrilled (apparently she can tell I need some help too...). I convinced my friend Sally to come with me. It was fun, a nice break and I learned some things that will hopefully help.
While we were checking out the vendors we found these amazing posters of Book of Mormon heros. I had to buy a couple and I am totally excited to get them framed and hung up in the boys rooms.

It turns out that Jason's sisters husband's brother is the artist. (I know....I know...) They sent some over to Jason's parents in Germany and the members over there loved them too.
