This is Alfie. Our favorite little green tractor. Jason and I HATE this toy. Why it is still in our home is beyond me. Isaac was obsessed with this toy when he was about 3. If it got lost we heard about it for days.....DAYS people......well, finally it got lost for good and Isaac moved on to new and better toys. Last year when the snow melted we found little Alfie in our backyard. Now Luke has found little Alfie and they have bonded as only little boys and toys do. However, Luke has a weird little obsession.........

Isn't he cute. Not hardly..... Luke won't play with Alfie if he looks like this.....

Or this.....................(frustration begins to mount)

Or this.......(yes, the swearing in my mind usually begins here........)

This is how Alfie must look in order for Luke to play with it.

Now keep in mind this toy rotates and the arm moves with the slightest movement so in a 15 minute period Luke will follow me around the house crying because Alfie is not in the correct position. After fixing him about 25 times I finally will just hide him and let Luke cry it out until he moves on to the next toy.

So, Alfie is looking for a new home, somewhere nice and warm, with little children. You can have him, no charge......anyone.....anyone.......

Ogden Tree House

On Tuesday we rode the Front Runner again up to Ogden and went to the Tree House. The boys had so much fun. We left our house at about 9:45. It took us an hour and 10 minutes to get to Ogden on the train and then we had a 10 minute walk. The kids played for a couple of hours at the Tree House and Tracey popped in to say hi and visit for a while. We left for the train at about 2:50 and then ate at Subway (lunch, nice huh) and then I ran to catch the train home. I ended up getting home at about 5:30. I have to say that was a long day..... oh yea and a little girl had some serious diarrea on the train right by us and we got to smell it all the way home! All in all it was a nice day, long but nice.....

Lukey cheeses it for the camera!

Isaac played for hours on the fire truck! Maybe instead of an anchorman, he will be a fireman??

Front Runner....

On Monday we decided to try out the Front Runner (high speed commuter train). It was free on Mon-Wed. We rode it from Woods Cross to Layton and turned around and came home. The kids thought it was pretty cool!

Future Anchorman.....

Aren't they cute....who knows what their future holds....

Eyebrow Shapers??

Ok, so I hate plucking my eyebrows and I have lost my tweezers, so I was at Walmart the other day and I found a package of eyebrow shapers. Hmmm, I thought, maybe that would be better than the horrible pain I put myself through each time I have to pluck my eyebrows. They were on sale so I decided I would give them a try.....

Consumer Beware: If you don't know what you are doing, these babies can be dangerous!

Ok, so I may have a few cuts on my face but they have scabbed over and will be fully healed by the time I have to use my eyebrow shaper again. Yes....I am going to try them again, the pain level was about the same as plucking so even though I am looking a bit rough right now I think they are worth another shot! Stay tuned for future updates.......

Our trip to remember.....

Here are some of our favorite rides!

Noah: Splash Mountain (rode it at least 4-5 times)
Isaac: Star Tours (rode it at least 6 times)
Luke: I don't know he can't talk but I do know he DOESN'T like Pirates of the Caribbean
Natalie: Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, and California Screamin
Jason: Tower of Terror and Grizzly Rapids

We had some small blessings during our trip. I lost my camera the second day at Disneyland. A cleaning lady found it and we were able to get it back! Whew! Then on Wednesday we left our backpack with practically everything in it on the shuttle. Luckily the shuttle stopped up ahead and we were able to run to it and get the backpack off! Whew again... Then on Friday Jason went out to the car and Isaac had left his door wide open and I had left my wedding ring in the front. Lucky for us nothing was missing and the ring was still there! Finally on our drive home we passed at least 6 wrecks! We must have had a guardian angel following us around last week! By the end of the week Adam and Marianne wouldn't have been suprised if we left a child behind.... haa haa

Jedi in Training!

My friend Tracey told me that I needed to take the boys to the Jedi Training Academy. Isaac LOVES Star Wars at the moment so we made some time to attend the training! It was the highlight of my whole trip to Disneyland! Isaac got picked to be one of the Jedi's in training. He started to cry when he got up there but calmed down, he was so cute up there trying to learn the moves and then Darth Vader came and all the Jedi's in training got to fight him. It was hilarious! I have never laughed so hard in my entire life! I think Isaac was scared to death the whole time he was up there but those moments were priceless!!

Isaac is not sure he wants to be a Jedi in Training....

He finally calms down....

The Jedi Master was taken with Isaac, he had a couple of good laughs at Isaac's expense!

Darth Vader and all the Jedi's in training....

More pictures of Darth Vader.
